Grace and Charma Designs Brings out the Beauty of the Wearer

Jennifer Boccassini began creating beading activities for small children to help them develop fine motor skills.

An Early Childhood student and educator who loves creative curriculum, Jennifer is fascinated by how children learn and develop through creativity. Just two years ago, Jennifer began experimenting with jewelry design and creating lesson plans that develop fine motor skills.

She then started working with “grown up” beads and she fell in love with the process of beading, wiring, creating patterns and the meditative aspects of creating jewelry. She says, “The child inside the adult survives through creativity.” Her creative outlet, combined with a new-found interest in gemstones, crystals and their healing properties led to Grace and Charma Designs.

Jennifer’s designs are sometimes minimalistic and other times bohemian. Inspired by patterns and colors in nature that are sometimes simple and elegant and sometimes vibrant with many colors and shapes together. Jennifer follows trends in modern jewelry styling with a Bohemian/beach chic theme. She loves experimenting with layering looks that complement the wearer, stone and design. Her designs are intended to compliment the natural beauty of the wearer and the stone.

All Grace and Charma Designs are handmade with love and good intentions for the wearer. Jennifer says the most rewarding part of creating her jewelry is when a piece is chosen by that someone it seemed perfectly meant for in both design and stone meaning.

Grace and Charma Designs can be found on Etsy as well as in Ebb Tide Gift Shoppe downtown St. Augustine (near Scarlett O’Hara’s.)
